ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We are aware of our environmental responsibility and the impact of our business on the communities in which we operate. We strive to take a proactive approach and prevent environmental problems in our operations. We have implemented an environmental management system in accordance with STN EN ISO 14 001:2005.

We utilise natural groundwater resources to supply drinking water to the site. All wastewater generated on the premises is treated in our own wastewater treatment plant. We use renewable energy sources for heat production. We have invested in the reconstruction of heat distribution systems and wood chip boilers.

We reduce the impact of our activities on the

  • by selecting the best available technologies for new projects,
  • by operating wastewater treatment plant,
  • by reducing waste production and implementing consistent separation,
  • by recovering as much waste as possible
  • by measuring and minimising emissions,
  • by minimising the use of non-renewable resources,
  • by regularly analysing the condition of the environment.
